 Glen Sowry - Chief Executive Officer

Glen Sowry joined the QAC team as Chief Executive Officer in September 2021. He has extensive leadership and aviation industry experience, having spent a decade in a range of senior management roles at Air New Zealand, including three years as General Manager Operations, leading a large team across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.

Glen was CEO of Metlifecare and prior to that CEO of Housing New Zealand (now Kainga Ora). Glen is also a former Chair of the Board of Airline Representatives New Zealand (BARNZ). Early in his career he was a professional yachtsman and competed for New Zealand in the America’s Cup, the Whitbread Race and the Olympics.

Glen has spent a great deal of time in the Queenstown Lakes district over the years and is excited to now be based in Queenstown and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle the region is known for.

 Andrew Williamson

Andrew Williamson – General Manager Finance and Commercial 

Andrew joined QAC in January 2019. He leads financial performance management, strategic planning, capital funding, risk management as well as all business activities and relationships related to aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenue.

Having worked across a broad range of business sectors, Andrew has held senior management positions with Pioneer Energy, Hall's Transport Group, Freightways and Vodafone New Zealand. Andrew began his career at KPMG after earning a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accountancy) degree from Massey University. He is also a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

 Todd Grace

Todd Grace - General Manager Operations & Safety

Todd joined QAC in April 2022 bringing valuable and diverse experience to the QAC team. Todd has over 25 year of experience working in the airport environment, having held a wide range of senior airport roles with Air New Zealand. He started out as Airports Strategy Manager and in this role was instrumental in the introduction of the kiosk check in across the Air New Zealand network which remain in operation today.

Post that role, Todd became Head of Regional Airports across New Zealand before moving on to be GM Offshore Airports with accountability for the airline's global airport operations.

Todd's operational experience was further developed as GM Auckland Airport with responsibility for Air New Zealand's hub operations at both the international and domestic airports.



Rachel Tregidga – General Manager Property and Planning

Rachel joined QAC in August 2015 and is responsible for the planning and development activities related to the company’s property assets as well as master planning.  With a long career in property management and development, Rachel has held senior management positions with Auckland Council Property Limited and Oxford City Council (UK), as well as various property and project managerial roles with Opus International, BNZ, and Westfield (NZ) Ltd.  Rachel holds Bachelor of Commerce and Arts degrees and a Diploma in Commerce from the University of Auckland.  She is also a member of the region’s transport governance group.

Sara Irvine – General Manager Corporate and Community Affairs

Sara joined QAC in June 2019 and is responsible for corporate and community affairs, including internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, government relations, regulatory matters, and the sustainability program. Sara has extensive experience as a communications and corporate affairs executive with a strong community focus. Before joining QAC she was the director of communications and operations for First Peoples Disability Network based in Australia. Prior to that role, Sara was the general manager of public affairs for Outcomes Australia and managing director of SAZCOM, a communications and engagement consultancy firm. Sara holds masters in journalism and an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Technology Sydney.
