04 Sep 2019
Whether you’re flying solo for a business trip, wrangling the kids for that much-needed holiday away or simply heading up North to see Grandma, chances are you’re looking for airport car parking that makes flying away super easy.
It can be hard to know what’s what, so here’s our quick guide to making parking at Queenstown Airport super easy, so you can relax and enjoy your flight. What will you choose?
P2- Free, quick and convenient
Our most convenient and free parking option is the 2-minute drop-off lane located closest to the terminal door. Aimed at those who’ve already said the long goodbye, the ‘Pash’N Dash is perfect for a quick ‘see ya later’. Bribe a friend with something nice to drop you off then make the most of the extra time you’ll have before your flight with a glass of Central Pinot Noir.
Terminal A+B – close to the terminal and ideal for the business and short stay traveller
Our Terminal A and B car parks are located just a short stroll from car to terminal. They’re great if you’re time-poor and/or want the convenience of a park-walk-terminal location. Ideal for the business traveller, where time is of the essence, and for shorter-term stays -from a few hours to a few days.
Park and Ride – our most affordable option, conveniently located 15 minutes away by shuttle
For those looking for affordable long-term parking, or those have more time to spend browsing the airport retail and food and beverage offerings, then the airport Park and Ride is the most affordable choice, conveniently located just a 15-minute shuttle ride away from the terminal. TIP: Book online and secure your space ahead of time.
Families – the choice is yours- terminal location for convenience or affordable parking close-by
Depending on your budget and time allowance, families can choose to park close to the terminal for convenience. TIP: Why not drop the family off at the P2 zone first, before heading to the Park and Ride and grabbing the shuttle direct to the door. Win/Win. Door-to-door service, allowing the family time to grab a bite to eat and watch the planes fly-by.
If you’re staying home this time around, but greeting others, the terminal parking offers short-stay parking close to the terminal.
P20 - If you’ve checked-out the airport website for your loved one's arrival, you’ll be ready to meet your guests pronto and help them start their trip the right way. Jump into one of the P20 Express Parking spaces, grab your guests and away you go..it’s that easy
Terminal A + B- Short-term stay – A few rows back from the P20, there are heaps of spaces aimed at stays from 20+ minutes to a few hours.
